It's A Good Day For Recommending...

My buddy Neato Coolville's always awesome and neato cool blog. This past week he's been recommending very cool stuff that everybody should know about. I won't spoil all the goodies but he recommends one of my favorite comic artists, the always awesome Fred Hembeck. He's got tons of great sketch cards for sale and he also does commissions. One of my favorite pieces of art is this wonderful drawing of my favorite mascot, the one and only Mr. Met, he did for me last year.

National Park Postcards

When my wife and I went to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado last summer we picked up a very cool postcard book featuring the poster artwork the Works Progress Administration commissioned in the 1930's to promote the parks. They're all beautiful but here are a few of my favorites.







I think my favorite one has to be this beauty from Sequoia National Park.



I highly recommend this set if you're at any of the National Parks. They're a great souvenir.
